William J. Wendt (“Billy” ) is the president and co-owner of Eagle Abstract Corp., which is dedicated to meeting the needs of New York and Long Island lawyers and mortgage professionals with a comprehensive suite of residential and commercial title insurance services.

Billy joined family-owned Eagle Abstract Corp. in 1983. Under his stewardship, Eagle Abstract Corp. has solidified its reputation as an industry leader committed to exceptional customer service.

With more than 30 years of experience and industry expertise, Billy is knowledgeable about all pending transactions—from title examinations to title clearance. He works closely and diligently with attorneys to bring about smooth closings and provide responsive, effective resolutions to a broad range of title issues.

Billy graduated with a BA in business from St. John’s University. He lives with his family in Huntington, NY.
